So this optic surprised me

So this optic surprised me. I've heard good things about Discovery optics but never had the chance to try one out. I needed a new scope for a 17 hmr rifle I picked up and decided to give them a try and man was I surprised. The glass is very clear and the eye relief is really forgiving. The eyebox does tighten up on 16x but I'm never zoomed in all the way anyways. I love the push/pull adjustment turrets. The adjustments are audible and tactile with no slop. I think I like this optic better than my Arken 4-16x and its half the price. If you're on the fence just pick one up you won't be disappointed. I'm definitely going to buy another for my next long range setup.

Excellent scope for the price.

Great for the price

It took me a while to warm up to this scope. Initially, I was not impressed with how thin the reticle was. But, now that I've used it a few times, the reticle seems fine. I say that having never taken the power off the max setting. When on the minimum power setting, good luck seeing the reticle. Luckily, this is for a benchrested range gun, so I only ever use max magnification. Overall, it has decent glass and tracking. I think it is a good value for the money.

Ottimo prodotto, peccato per la messa a fuoco che parte da 15y. Sarebbe stato meglio se partiva da 10y. Lenti nitide e molto luminose, costruzione e finiture di livello, ottimo packaging.Non metto 5 stelle in quanto attendo risposta dal venditore che me ne ha inviata una già palesemente usata in quanto ha segni di un precedente attacco sul tubo.

Great value

This scope is certainly worth the price on it. Tracks great, crisp image, accurate parallax. My only complaints:1. When in the rain, this glass fogs up. Enough to make it very difficult to see your target at extended range.2. The magnification doesn’t seem accurate when compared to other 4-16 powered scopes. Compared to a vortex and an Arken and when this scope is on 16x it’s comparable to the others at about 10x.

Worth the price.

Good scopes for the money. I ordered the 8x32 twice, but the 2nd you sent was the 6x24. Luckily I liked it.

.22lr rifle

Worked out great on a .22lr rifle. Eye box is decent.

Priced where I could afford it

I took a chance on buying this, as I’d never even looked at this brand of scope before. I’m sure it will serve me well, although, I’m hoping the stiffness in the magnification dial loosens up so I don’t have to use gloves to get a good enough grip on it to turn it. Granted, my age doesn’t help.
