Seeing these rings for sale at the price they are, really makes you question some of the very high end scope ring makers... now thats not to say they dont have a place, but if you are not a SEAL, these should work just fine for you. I will just add that I do have rings by a place called **eekins... and these really do make me question how much I spent.These are finished in a nice matte black anodizing, recoil lugs and a very fine honed mounting area.These are honed perfectly and concentric. I found almost zero adjustment needed (left/right), when I remounted my old scope with these new rings - previously mounted in some very expensive rings.While I really love the fact that the printed on the rings the order of torque and torque values right on the rings... so you will never be left guessing... I would like something more conspicuous, maybe a black on black or something.Overall, a really nice set of rings that should serve you well.
These rings are absolutely amazing! They are obviously very well thought out and designed, and then machined to perfection. They come in a really nice, and useful plastic case with allen keys and extra screws (which I ended up needing). The anodized finish is flawless and the white lettering is crisp and easily readable.Useful markings like the torque specs and tightening sequence are printed in just the right places to be useful, but not intrusive. Printing the size of the rings on the front of the ring body is a nice touch, so you don't forget which rings are which when you realize you have thrown the packaging away 10 years later for all the sets of rings you bought when you realized how nice these are. The bore of the rings is bare aluminum and machined nicely. This should, in theory, help with precision by avoiding the anodized finish of your scope from interfering with an anodized finish on the rings (which can cause inaccuracy through variations in the surface of the finishes).These rings are the perfect mix of beef and weight reduction, which in my mind, gives them a beauty all their own. Form and function, and all that... I would get them again in a heartbeat, and probably will for my next installation. I wish they made them in 1in for my rimmed units...
cheaper and better then any of the other rings Ive ever used. love them! I did not check to see if they where perfectly aligned with each other as i dont have a way to do that but they appear to be spot on.
